Fun with Anagrams

Dana, Steph, Krystal, Steph'sFriendAaron and I all went to see The Da Vinci Code last night. I'll not bore you with what I thought of the movie, but it did get me thinking a lot about codes and so forth. So today, I decided to look online to see if I could find any good anagrams of "Rob L Glazebrook" or its derivatives. I thought maybe I could turn it into a pen name or something of the sort. Turns out, my name is not easy to anagrammanate, considering all of the o's and the addition of a z.
Dana's name, on the other hand... I had better results by far there. The best anagrams of "Dana Humphreys" (in my opinion) are:
Meanest:
shady prehuman
pushy drama hen
puny marsh head
any push harmed
damn pushy hare
unshamed harpy
Most Telling of the Past:
heard many push
had urea nymphs (yikes!)
Dirtiest (biggest category, duh):
shared any hump
raped shy human
raped many hush (shhh!)
had suprahymen (made up word, still funny)
hand repays hum
handy arse hump (hehehe...)
Doesn't Fit Elsewhere:
puny harsh mead
had humane spry
sad hyper human
Most Fitting Given our Exercise:
handy masher up
If nobody else finds these funny, I blame the fact that I got home from the movie around 1am and had to get up for work at 6am. :)
Love,

Wow. The last week and a half have really just flown by for me. I apologize for the long delay in posting, but I've discovered something fascinating in the last couple of weeks: when I spend 8 hours a day sitting in front of a computer, I don't much feel like doing the same at home. :) Especially when it's nice outside, like it has been the last few days.
Dana and I went hiking at Ledges Friday night after I got home from work, which was pretty fun. I would've taken pictures, but to be honest, I haven't seen my digital camera since I moved. This would make me more nervous, except I haven't seen a ~lot~ of things since I moved, and I expect I simply haven't gotten far enough in my unpacking. All of my stuff is in my new apartment, but a good portion of it is just sitting in random boxes, bags, or shopping carts, waiting for the day I get home from work and think to myself, "I sure would love to spend the next six hours organizing!" Until then, things will be missing.
I spent Saturday reading The Da Vinci Code. Well, most of it, anyway. I have 30 or so pages left, which I hope to get in this evening sometime. It's a generally fun read, although certain portions of Dan Brown's writing style get on my nerves. He tends to tell the audience exactly what the characters are thinking, but from an outside perspective. The result is odd sentences which read something like, "Sophie looked as though she had only gotten four hours sleep the night before and had eaten scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast." All I gotta say is, this floating narrator is pretty damn perceptive. Unnervingly so.
There was a concert behind my apartment Saturday night, so Dana and I sat on the roof drinking a beer or two (literally, unfortunately) and watching the drunken middle-aged people acting silly below. Watching women older than my mom drunkenly shake their groove thangs really requires me to be a little more intoxicated than I was.
Sunday, Dana and I ate a large lunch at King Buffet, caught Stick It at the theater (I'm not allowed to see Da Vinci until I finish the book) to give us time to digest, and then worked off the calories by playing racquetball until we couldn't really swing our arms anymore. The rest of the evening was pretty well devoted to watching season 3 of Alias.
Since the series finale of Alias airs tonight, and I'm not allowed to watch it because I'm not caught up, I'll have a few hours sans-Dana to try to do something productive with my apartment. I'll probably try to play racquetball or something instead. I weighed myself Sunday when I was at the Rec, and was fairly discouraged by the scale's estimate. I need to start working out regularly and rigorously.
And yes, we're going to call it an estimate. For my sanity. Never mind the fact it's a giant, digital, expensive-looking model that looks like it could be accurate to the ounce up to a ton or two.
Catching up.

Well, it’s been too long since my last update to give a detailed account of all my goings-on, so I’ll give a few important details to get us all caught up. I’ll try to update more consistently in the near future. I’ll also try to learn to play the guitar and fly, but I don’t know how feasible any of these goals are.
Monday, May 1
I picked up the keys to my new apartment. I spent that evening cleaning the dust off of stuff and deciding where I wanted to put things.
Tuesday, May 2
Eric and Renee came up to help me move some stuff (bookcases, associated books, desk, and associated computer) into the new apartment.
Wednesday, May 3
I wrote what will probably be the last paper of my college career, which was essentially a justification of why I shouldn’t have to write a different paper.
Thursday, May 4
My last day working for the Graduate College. We had a nice early lunch together and then I spent the rest of the afternoon gathering things together for the new person (though they don’t yet know who or when that will be).
Friday, May 5
I graduated! Immediately afterwards, I partied. I didn’t really think to take pictures of either, so you’ll have to rely on someone else for shots of the event(s). The party was a pretty good time, although everyone present was a lightweight. I had bought a keg of Coors Light, and ended up dumping 2/3 of it down the drain.
Saturday, May 6
Parents and I started moving in earnest. Didn’t go as smoothly as I would have hoped. Although most of the big stuff got moved, there was a lot left in the old apartment. I bought a dishwasher at Best Buy.
Sunday, May 7
More rearranging, more setting up of stuff. Didn’t get nearly as much done as I wanted.
Monday, May 8
I went to Target, Best Buy, Lowes, and Staples for essentials.
Tuesday, May 9
I was pretty much a lazy bum. I think I watched two movies and ate three pieces of leftover cake.
Wednesday, May 10
Dana and I took a trip up to Minneapolis to Ikea. I ended up buying a coffee table, bookcase/organizer thingy, desk lamp, and two speaker stands. Everything barely fit in my car, so I’m glad I decided against the desk for the time being.
Thursday, May Today
I started my new job at August Home! :) We went out to lunch at Spaghetti Works and I took several tours and met several people. My boss described to me my next big project, which sounds part cool, part scary. I should learn a lot, anyways.
And now I’m heading home to put together Ikea furniture until Dana gets back into town, at which point I think we’re heading out to dinner to celebrate.
