A wrist watch is a time showing instrument that is designed to be worn on the wrist of a person with a strap or chain. In addition to the time, modern watches often display the day, date, month and year, and electronic watches may have many other functions. The breakthrough invention helped the common man to bring order into his life by organizing time. Now it has become a part of everyday accessories, collectors items, and a symbol of class, individuality and fashion statement.
